Server Crash

I went to to Yuku 'Report a Bug' forum because the layout at our message board was messed up, which includes the images not showing up and no tools to use in the text area where we post.

One of the admins. explained to me that the image server crashed and that's causing all the other problems. That's why TEMB's layout is also messed up. I just wanted to let y'all know that Yuku is working on the problems with the image server crash. Hopefully, they'll get...

Graphics?

I see that some of the graphics aren't showing up. I don't know what is up with that. I went to my graphics server and all is well with them. So they are just getting lost somewhere between here and there. Hopefully it will be resolved sometime in the very near future. But I just wanted you to know that I had looked into it.

I noticed that it's still showing as my birthday at the bottom, so I clicked on my username to see why.
It's showing this: Event: 10 September 2007 until 10 September 2008. Is there a way to change that because I think my username will stay down there until September of 2008. Is there a way it can be edited?

I've got two computers - both function pretty good. I had wireless high speed - but that is becoming tougher to get, which I can't complain about since it was an open access connection. And my dialup is here - but it is increasingly worse. It is not just the slowness, it keeps booting me off or won't connect at all. And, if I do get on, there are some places I can't load at all due to the graphics, etc (ie: MySpace). Plus, I am not supposed to be on the internet at work anymore.

Yuku Profiles

As you can see by the EZAnnouncement, Yuku is on it's way. This particular step is to move your profile into Yuku.
So, I decided to take the plunge (because it's coming folks) & moved my profile over from EZBoard to Yuku. It was fairly painless, but I don't fully understand what all I can do in there. And I have no idea how to edit some of the stuff (such as my friends). I will be playing with this over the next several days & post anything of importance that I discover....

We have one month left on our Gold Community status. It's now crunch time. We need to decide now if we want to move TEMB to another server - or stay put.
I have become accustomed to EZBoard, even though I am still livid over much of the hack attack business. Plus, we need to consider if moving will harm our membership. Although I don't think that is really much of an issue. We are a very small group of posters. But we do have a large volume of lurkers. But if moving means losing...

We still have hundreds of "posts cannot be restored" posts on the board from the hack attack in June. I haven't been very interested in cleaning them out previously, for a variety of reasons (including my delusion that they might somehow reappear). But I have finally given in & I will be slowly deleting those posts.
If any mods ever feel totally energetic & want to join me in this effort - feel free to do so.
