Uhoh, I know there are some soap fans that wander through here once in awhile.
Enjoy the show!

Yes, and I'm afraid I'm an "All My Children" fan. I've watched the show from the beginning. I keep thinking that since Jessie came back
after being dead, Dixie came back as a ghost, and Greg came back for Angie and Jessie's wedding, that Jenny will also come back somehow! I also hope that
Susan Lucci wins another Emmy tonight to break that 'once in 19 times' record!

Somehow, someway General Hospital won Outstanding Show.......HTF did that happen?! I mean I know how it happened, Guza & Co actually write two episodes
during sweeps periods that are brilliant but what, 8 episodes compared to how many others of dog turds?! Sonny-Jason-Carly-Jason-Sonny EVERY freaking day I
can't take it anymore! I thought maybe when the Divine Miss Brown came back the show would be at least watchable, but they're ruined her character and
I can't even watch Claudia anymore. Steve Burton can hardly hide his contempt for her and I'm hoping for a quick exit for her and maybe an appearance
on a different show that's not run into the ground by mobsters every-freaking-where! Night Shift 2 looks pretty good, they had me at the promo that said
Antonio Sabato, Jr. is coming back as Jagger---I LOVED Jagger! I might watch this season as it will probably be in synch with the daytime show as well.
It'll be a nice touch of history for Jagger & Robin to be reunited and remember Stone---I can't wait!

Not only is Jagger back, but Robert was prominently placed in the promo as well. I heard that Robert & Robin are supposed to be working on their
relationship on this one, but that's just rumor right now. I'm thrilled--new writers & directors, maybe this will be watchable!
Cardinals fans take their cue from Stan Musial, baseball's ultimate gentleman
and greatest living legend. His No. 6 statue stands outside Busch Stadium, inscribed with the affecting words of Ford Frick: "Here stands baseball's
perfect warrior. Here stands baseball's perfect knight." If there was a post, it might be, "And behind him sits baseball's perfect
fans"...Post-Dispatch Sports Columnist Dan O'Neill

I'm SOOO out of the loop with the soaps right now. I haven't watched them in a long time!! I saw some pics from the Emmys, but I didn't watch them
this year. Angie.. you're an AMC fan!!! That's my all time favorite soap.... I do watch OLTL and GH at times, but I'm an AMC fan, no doubt. In
fact, I don't know if you remeber Tara Martin, but that's who I was named after... Mom's an AMC fan too, and loved the name Tara, so that's how
I got my name (even though my grandfather always thought it was after the mansion from Gone with the Wind). Mom and I went to Super Soap Weekend a couple years
ago... it was nice but SOOOO busy... I don't think we'll be going back for awhile... we've been to Disney 1000s of times, but never ever saw it so
crazy... LOL.

Tara, I had no idea you were named after her! I hated it when Tara left the show. There have really been some funny moments on AMC. One of my favorites was
when Agnes Nixon had Carol Burnett on AMC as Verla Grubb. She was Langley Walingford's daughter. I don't know if you remember, but Langley was Phoebe
Tyler's second husband on the show.
There was a scene where Verla (Carol Burnett) was sitting at a table in the hospital cafeteria with Myrtle Fargate. While they were sitting there, a maid walked by, looked at them, and then smiled bigger than life. It was none other than Elizabeth Taylor! She was playing the role as the maid that Carol always portrayed on her show. It was hilarious! Carol had always wanted to have a character part on AMC. So, Agnes came up with Verla Grubb.

Oh my word! I can't believe it, butit's actually on YouTube! I was wrong about the scene being in the cafeteria. The scene was at the Chateau! To me, it's one of those priceless moments!
